This attractive wooden book stand is handcrafted with sustainably harvested mango wood. Master artisans in north central India begin with solid blocks of ethically sourced wood and use hand tools to skillfully carve blocks into functional works of art. Their mastery, passed down from generation to generation, is evident in the refined quality of the intricate butterfly carving as well as in the smooth, polished look and feel. This hands free book holder features an interlocking, two-part butterfly design which allows the book to rest in an open position.
