The interior and exterior of this gorgeous singing bowl has been embossed with the eight auspicious Tibetan symbols: Conch Shell, Lotus, Wheel, Parasol, Endless Knot, Pair of Fish, and Victory Banner. The bowl includes a wooden dowel-striker. This Bowl is made of Alloy (Copper, Iron, Tin, Lead and Mercury.) The metals are associated with the following astrologucal elements: Copper = Venus, Iron = Mars, Tin = Jupiter, Lead = Saturn, Mercury = Mercury.
The eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism are believed to propitiate the environment and grant protection.
